I'm interested in bying two quads of these beauyies at eBay. The seller listed just a pair, but I've bought from him in past and I contacted him, he can ship two matched quads as well.
I know they are "the best ever" 6SN7 and I must have them. I need your opinion on them.

Sorry for slow reply, I had one broken Russian 6N8S by hand, but it took some time to dig Philips one out.
Here are a few photos, 6SN7GT Philips clear glass and 6N8S Russian 6SN7GT, side by side.
The differences are more than obvious.

By the way, you should ask for photos of boxes. These ones look genuine, but I doubt he has all eight the same.
