EL34 6CA7 Telefunken Western Germany
Hello,

Really great forum, I'm really happy there is a place to share all the details and to ask everything abut rebranded tubes.

A friend of mine has bought a quad of these Telefunken EL34, the seller claims they are genuine, made in West Germany in Ulm in 70s.

What do you think about them?

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

These ones are fresh reprints of Russian EL34. They look very similar to RFT EL34, which Telefunken used to rebrand in 70s and 80s.

Genuine RFT Muhlhausen EL34 tools were offered to EI in late 80s, but they finished in Russia.

By the way many big European manufacturers rebranded tubes in 70s and 80s, I've seen genuine Telefunken, Philips, Siemens and Mullard printing tools in EI factory in Nis, Yugoslavia.

Best regards!
